• Androsterone (150mg)

  Metha-Quad Extreme uses 4 incredibly potent compounds to boost muscle mass and testosterone while limiting estrogen.

  Androsterone, a.k.a 3α-hydroxy-5α-androstan-17-one, is frequently confused with 1-Androsterone, but the two are very different compounds. While they are both relatives of DHEA, Androsterone is a naturally-occurring metabolite of DHEA via androstenedione/testosterone/DHT/etc.

Its androgenic potency is 7 times less than that of testosterone, but it is used as the international reference standard for androgenic activity: 1.0 international unit (IU) corresponds to 0.1mg A.A. is excreted in urine as a metabolic product of testosterone."^[1]

  Notice how he references 3α-hydroxy-5ß-androstan-17-one as opposed to 3α-hydroxy-5α-androstan-17-one, which is the one used here in Metha-Quad Extreme. So, the effects might vary slightly, but the anabolic potential is definitely present. It's also worth mentioning that Androsterone can get converted to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) via 3α-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase and 17β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase, for even more muscle-building potential.^[2]

  Much like 1-Andro, 4-Andro also undergoes a 2-step conversion process in the body on its way to becoming actual testosterone! 4-Andro converts to both 4-androstenedione (Andro Dione) and 4-androstenediol (Andro Diol — a.k.a. 4-AD) by way of 3-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase and 17-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase enzymes.

  The one we're really interested in is 4-AD because, as we've stated before, 4-AD converts to testosterone! This is done via the 3 beta hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase enzyme.

  In other words, 4-Andro provides the "testosterone base" to Metha-Quad, ultimately boosting your Testosterone production, yielding more gains and masculinity!

  But, when using 4-Andro, you MUST be aware that some of it does easily convert to estrogen! For this reason, it's absolutely essential to use an aromatase inhibitor alongside any prohormone stack that involves 4-AD and get blood tests too!
