Directions: Cooking Instructions: For a nutritious high fiber hot breakfast cereal, bring 3 cups water and ½ teaspoon salt to a boil. Add 1 cup Bob's Red Mill 7 Grain Cereal, turn heat down. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes enough for four hungry folks. Serve with honey or brown sugar and milk. Also great with fruit and/or nuts. Microwave Instructions: In large bowl, combine ¼ cup Bob's Red Mill 7 Grain Cereal and ¾ cup water. Cover and microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes. Makes 1 serving. Keeps best refrigerated or frozen. |

DirectionsBasic Cooking Instructions
Stovetop: Bring water and salt to a boil. Slow whisk in cereal, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 2 minutes.

Microwave: Combine 1/4 cup cereal, 3/4 cup water and a pinch of salt in a microwave safe bowl. Stir well. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, or until water is fully absorbed, stopping every 30 seconds to stir.

Slow Cooker: Combine 3 cups water, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 cup cereal in a slow cooker. Stir well. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2 1/2 hours. Stir well and serve.
