Immune PREP is a new innovation from Country Life designed to specifically to support your immune system everyday. Wellness is a concern for most people and we all strive to support daily wellness. Our bodies have two basic layers that make up our immune system. These two layers are the innate and the adaptive immune systems. The first layer, the innate immune system, is what can be referred to as cellular immunity, because this side of the immune system is made up of a collection of cells called NK cells (Natural Killer cells), macrophages, T-cells, monocytes and more.

Immune PREP is a combination of two main ingredients: A specialized, certified organic, 100% inner filler Aloe vera and a unique ingredient called Lactobacillus rhamnosus lysate, which is derived from the probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus. The unique combination of these two main ingredients provides daily support of the immune system.

The specialized Aloe vera used in this formulation has been shown, in a human-based, randomized, double-blind placebo-controlled study with a healthy adult population, to support the role of the innate immune system. This Aloe vera activates and promotes the activity of NK cells and positively affects the levels of other important immune cells, called monocytes, which aid in the overall support of the body's daily immune health. Emerging science suggests that Aloe vera may also help to support the activation of the body's own antioxidant system by stimulating the production of phase II enzymes, as well as assisting in the increased absorption of vitamins C and E. In addition to supporting the immune system and digestive health, this unique Aloe vera has also been shown to support cardiovascular health.

The Lactobacillus rhamnosus lysate is derived from the active probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus through a process called Lysis. Lysis is a process in which the probiotic undergoes a fracturing process that may allow the release of many substances from inside the membrane of Lactobacillus rhamnosus, therefore resulting in more exposure of the probiotic bacteria in the body. This is what gives this unique probiotic-derived ingredient a special application as a supportive nutrient.
