We recently sat down for a chat with the owner of EPG, the "older brother brand" to hot new startup Psycho Pharma to discuss a little more about the history of Psycho Pharma’s inspiration, to learn more about it and what’s ahead for the well-established brand.
Who is EPG?
EPG was founded in 2008 with a mission -- give consumers more. By that, EPG means that they wanted to create more effective, and better looking, products, that delivered rapid results. The brand has built a reputation for developing progressive formulas and packaging, while at the same time pushing the boundaries of what conventional muscle building supplements, such as PCT or testosterone boosting supplements, are at the time.
"The innovation of using EPI in a PCT or an estrogen inhibitor in a testosterone product were not warmly received at that time, but has since become widely copied by many of the EPG’s competitors!”
For those of you that have been around the industry awhile, you know that EPG (as well as Psycho Pharma) are both distributed brands of Brand New Energy (BNE), a leader in extreme sports supplement distribution and creators of the wildly popular Oxy Xtreme fat burner. Back in 2008, BNE were some of the first to use the embossed “pharmaceutical box” packaging, which caught the attention of the masses.
Who is EPG for?
EPG is really for any experienced athlete looking to get a little more extreme with their supplements (i.e. harder hitting, faster acting, more aggressive stimulants and formulas).
"EPG primary target demographics are experienced fitness products buyers that don’t want corporate garbage or fluff from the Johnny-come-lately flyby companies. There is a reputation, and an expectation of greatness, from the consumers that have bought EPG products over the many years.”
Basically, if you’re tired of the same old, same old caffeine, citrulline, beta alanine combo and looking to up your intensity on the stim side of things, EPG products are for you.
Top EPG Products
EPG has been around for a decade, and over the years, they’ve debuted some pretty heavy hitting products, but recently they’ve crafted a trio of products that’ll certainly catch your attention.
Turnt up
You read that right!!With a wink and nudge in the direction of pop culture comes EPG’s heavy-hitting pre-workout Turnt Up. For those of you unfamiliar with the expression, “turnt up” is typically known as the perfect synergy of being both drunk and high (without going too much in either direction) to yield a state of nirvana unlike any other.
Turnt Up contains a mix of energy and mood elevators to simulate this next-level state of being. There’s not too much of the “fuzzy ingredients” (i.e. Eria Jarensis) that will make you feel sluggish or tired or too much caffeine where you’ll be too wired to do anything except chase your own tail. It’s the perfect combo of nootropics and stimulants to generate plenty of feel good energy perfect for those after work, “happy hour” timeframe workouts, when you need a serious pick me up, or when you’re needing a bunch of energy for a late night with the crew.
Blue Ice
Embracing all that Walter White aspired to be and more, Blue Ice is EPG’s nod in the direction of seminal television series Breaking Bad. Touting the elemental labeling and slang reference, Blue Ice is a potent fat burner that’s sure to deliver some powerful “fat burning chills” due to its alpha yohimbine content.Blue Ice contains a proprietary blend of Caffeine anhydrous, eria jarensis extract (n-phenyl-dimethylamine), DMAE (dimethylethanolamine), L-carnitine, Guarana, Theophylline anhydrous, n-isopropylnorsynephrine, rauwolfia vomitoria root extract (alpha yohimbine).
Blue Ice will rapidly boost mood, energy, focus, and fat burning. Expect to feel some of the Alpha-Y “chills” too.
Note: Blue Ice is exclusive to A1 Supplements.
Steel 75
Leading the way for EPG is one of the newer releases for the brand in Steel 75, a powerful testosterone booster mixing natural testosterone boosting and libido enhancing compounds (such as Fenugreek, Horny Goat Weed, and Mucuna Pruriens) alongside the extremely aggressive aromatase inhibitor (AI), arimistane.
If you’re one of those individuals whose never gotten much of anything from an OTC testosterone booster, give Steel 75 a run for yourself and you’ll see how quickly you’ll start to feel fresher, lose the bloat and tighten up all over.
Where to find EPG Products
Brand New Energy is the exclusive distributor for EPG and Psycho Pharma products to other wholesale and retail sellers both domestic and abroad. EPG products have been available at extreme supplement retail stores and on the leading web sellers of “supplements with an edge” for almost 10 years.

Takeaway
As the era of stimulants continually changes, consumers are going to look for supplements just as intense (or more) than their favorite products of yesteryear. EPG looks to continue its tradition of innovation and domination of the extreme sports supplement segment. If regular old caffeine, energy drinks and diet pills aren’t working for you, give an EPG supplement a go, and you’ll experience what true “extreme” is.
