Go to StoreAt some point or another all guys eventually hit their full natural anabolic potential. There's simply a limit on the amount of pure muscle any given man not blessed with Arnold's genes can put on in a certain amount of time.
Inevitably, this leads to frustration, anger, and a defeated attitude among certain gym bros. However, it doesn't have to be that way for long thanks to Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals.
Androdiol is a liposomal-based legal prohormone supplement, meaning its active ingredients are encapsulated in lipids (fats) to improve absorption and uptake by the body. This means makes Androdiol a leader in the over-board prohormone market and if it works as planned, will take these ingredients to new levels!

Androdiol Ingredients
Androdiol packs two powerful prohormones helping to further your anabolic threshold and unveiling slabs of new growth:
-
4-androstene-3b-ol, 17-one Decanoate (75mg)
4-androstene 3b-ol, 17-one, a.k.a. 4-DHEA, is a prohormone to 4-androstenediol. It's also a naturally occurring metabolite of androstenedione due to reversal of the 3-beta hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase/isomerase reaction.[1,2] 4-DHEA doesn't have much of an anabolic effect on its own, but it can convert to testosterone via a two-step process involving the enzymes 3bHSD and 17bHSD.Perhaps the biggest upside to 4-DHEA is that it exerts significantly less estrogenic effects in the body compared to DHEA. 4-DHEA can still convert to estrogen but it won't act directly in the estrogen receptor like DHEA. What this means is that any estrogenic side effects you may experience with 4-DHEA come as a result of the elevated estrogen levels only, NOT direct effects from simply taking 4-DHEA.
-
5a-Hydroxy Laxogenin Acetate (50mg)
Androdiol also contains laxogenin. We wrote about this in great detail in the link above, where this plant-derived steroid that can be extracted from Smilax sieboldii and select Dioscorea species. It can also be synthesized from diosgenin.
Although there's no human research on trained subjects using laxogenin, it is often compared to a natural and far milder form of Anavar (oxandrolone), since it's believed to have a similar anabolic/androgenic ratio.
Users anecdotally note that laxogenin provides increased strength and recovery from injury. For instance, with this ingredient alone, you can expect your 1 rep max to go to 2 reps - great stuff, but nothing "steroid-like".
Most of the effects from Androdiol will likely come from the 4-DHEA, with Laxo serving more as a helper. The dose here is solid - 50mg twice per day gets you to the 100mg which is reported as the sweet spot for laxogenin supplementation.
The good news is that the best laxogenin products are those whose ingredients have the liposomal treatment, which we discuss next:
Liposomal Technology (Cyclosome Delivery)
So how do supplement companies fix this? They employ something known as liposomes.
Instead of merely packaging the select ingredients in a capsule, they are suspended inside the micelle structure consisting of phospholipids. Doing this mimics the effects of eating a fatty meal and thus greatly improving the absorption of previously poorly bioavailable ingredients.
One of the companies to pioneer this kind of technology was Indena who developed Phytosome™[4], a plant based collection of phospholipids used to improve the absorption of various herbal extracts.[5] Indena has successfully employed their technology with several herbal ingredients including green tea[6], Ginkgo biloba, and Bacopa monniera.[7] You might also recognize it from the popular "Curcumin Phytosome" supplements.
Bringing Liposomes to Anabolics
The big knock against most anabolic agents is that they aren't highly bioavailable in the body, case in point DHEA. While they may be effective in vitro or in animal studies, their utilization by the human body when administered orally is less than stellar. Packaging prohormones like 4-DHEA optimizes their absorption and vastly improves the bioavailability of it and similar active ingredients. The process is not cheap, nor is the equipment. This is why you'll rarely see it coming from a company who sells anabolics -- most companies who sell these kinds of supplements are either small or fly-by-night companies without access to the machinery or capital required to run them.
Hi-Tech has their own machine to do this, and it's very similar to the technology used in the previously referenced studies. They are calling their process Cyclosome Delivery, which you can see on the label.
Again, note that Indena is not used in Androdiol. Hi-Tech Pharma has their own new centrifuge that performs the lipid encapsulation.
In fact, there's a rumor that Hi-Tech installed a massive blast wall because the centrifuge is so powerful and spins so fast that all safety and security precautions must be taken so that no employees are harmed if the equipment ever became unhinged in the event of an unforeseen natural disaster.
More of this to come from Hi-Tech
As you might be starting to see, this is just the next step in Hi-Tech's "takeover" of this industry. When they bought LG Sciences, they gained the right to use LG Science's founder's patents. Combining those DHEA patents with this technology is going to make for the next generation of legal prohormones that will have better bioavailability than any other DHEA supplements you've ever seen.
Point being, Androdiol is just the first of many.
Dosing
To fuel your gains, Hi-Tech recommends you take 2 tablets of Androdiol spread out during the day. But, do not exceed 4 tablets daily.
Do I need PCT?
As with any prohormone, it's important to take care of your system - better to be safe than sorry.
Simply put, any prohormone worth its salt is going to drop natural testosterone production. And herein lies the rub: even though this is an over-the-counter supplement, we still recommend running a true prescription-strength post cycle therapy, such as a SERM like Clomid. This puts Androdiol in an awkward situation - it can be sold in supplement stores, yet its counterpart for PCT cannot, and you'll need to speak to a doctor to get a SERM.
Meanwhile, to keep estrogen down, Hi-Tech also has Estrogenex, which can be run after your Androdiol cycle is done.
We're awaiting further word from Hi-Tech Pharma for this one. Some may wonder about liver protection, but Androdiol shouldn't be liver toxic since it's not methylated, and it has the liposomal delivery system. If you were to be extra cautious, you could take NAC and Milk Thistle alongside Androdiol, but we don't feel it's necessary.
Takeaway
Ask anyone who's been training for longer than a year or two how difficult it increasingly becomes to add new muscle each year. The fact is, there is a cap on everyone's capacity to synthesize lean muscle.
Finally, there are new products that can legally shatter that natural limit provided you're willing to take a walk on the "wild side". This is not for rookies.
The question is, can this technology compete with the illegal stuff, and is the reward/risk ratio now skewed back in your favor? Compared to using questionable chemicals from companies with zero oversight.... we think so.
Androdiol is the first step and a sign of things to come - legal anabolics that actually make it into your bloodstream. If you're an aggressive/intermediate/advanced anabolic user and are sick of the shady size, then this is worth a shot. Tell your muscles to get ready to go.
