Betaine HCL + pepsin is a digestive aid used to treat indigestion, heart burn, and nutritional deficiencies caused by insufficient stomach acid. Risk of low stomach acid (hypochlorhydria) increases with factors such as age, stress and smoking, or long-term use of antacids.
