THERAPEUTIC FATTY ACIDS
Conjugated Linoleic Acid, or CLA, are fatty acids found in dairy products, certain meats, and seafood. CLA can assist in fat burning, support the immune system, and fight inflammation. Nutricost has formulated their CLA derived from Safflower Oil, with 800 mg of CLA per serving.
It is believed that CLA helps burn fat because of its impact on energy metabolism, adipogenesis, inflammation, and lipid metabolism.[1] Studies have found that an intake of CLA reduced calorie consumption, and increased energy expenditure along with liver function.[2] CLA also seems to modulate immune and inflammatory responses as well, enhancing overall health.
