Cranberries (Vaccinium macrocarpon) are native to North America and are members of the same botanical family as blueberries and bilberries. They naturally contain the health supporting benefit of proanthocyanidins. Cranberries remove unwanted compounds from the unrinary tract, thereby cleansing waste products from the body.
Cran Flora, in additon to highly concentrated Cranberry Powder and Ester C, provides L. Acidophilus, a natural probiotic (friendly bacterium),naturally found in the gastrointestinal tract, and in fermented foods such as yogurt. A large percentage of the body's immnue system is located in the gastrointestinal tract, and L. Acidophilus supports normal, healthy immune system. It is thought probiotics colonize the small intestine and promote a proer balance for intestial flora while encouraging a favorable environment for the absorption of nutrients.
